Many tests have been the subject of scoring tables according to the principle seen on the page "Strength-Force Measurement". They were established after the study on thousands of subjects. Examples of tables for the 18-35 age group are presented here. The other tables can be found in the book "Code of Force" by Georges Hébert. Walking Running Quadrupedia Climbing Jumping Throwing Swimming
The conditions of execution:
- Walking on flat ground,
- For speed steps, at all times a foot must be in contact with the ground, and during the double support, it must be sharp.
The conditions of execution:
- Shopping is done with shoes without spikes or barefoot.
The event is performed either in ordinary race on the 4 limbs (trot or gallop mode), or by leaps (alternating jumps from the feet to the hands and vice versa). The ground is firm, not elastic, (clay, unmooned grass etc.) in order to test the resistance of the wrists, and secondarily of the shoulders, to the repeated shocks of the progression in support.
The conditions of execution: Climbing the rope: The tests are carried out on a smooth rope. They are done without the help of the legs for the ascent, for the descent the legs can be used. Tractions withfoot support: Being flat with your back, hang from two nearby smooth ropes or a bar of good height, the body simply detached from the ground and completely elongated, the heels retaining the support on the ground. In this position, pull on the arms and bring the chin to the height of the hands. Mark a stop time, then lower the body by completely lengthening the arms but without touching the ground other than with the heels. Repeat the exercise for up to one minute. This test will allow people who are unable to perform a traction, to nevertheless be able to evaluate themselves. Repulsions with foot supports: ("pumps") Place yourself in a position of tense support, on the feet and hands, the body elongated, the feet together. In this position, lower the body to the ground, without touching it by bending the ras, mark a stop time, then go up the body by completely lengthening the arms, without the knees helping the ascent. Repeat the exercise for up to one minute. Pull-ups without foot support: Hang from a bar, arms completely elongated, legs hanging, hands at a spacing equal to that of the shoulders, fingers directed forward. Pull on the arms and bring the chin to the height of the birth of the fingers. Mark a timeout, then lower the body by completely lengthening the arms. Repeat the exercise for up to one minute. Note: there must be complete arm lengthening and shoulder relaxation prior to each new pull; there must not be a first pull of the shoulders before a pull on the arms. Repulsions without foot supports: Place oneself in a tense support on two parallel bars, feet detached from the ground; lower the body thoroughly by flexing the arms, mark a pause and go up the body by completely lengthening the arms and without the legs helping in any way; Repeat the exercise for up to one minute.
For all jumps, 3 tests are carried out. The best performance is retained. The fallout must be done, on the ground, which can be loose (sand), and on the feet only; (Jumps with fall on the back, on a mattress have no utilitarian value; they just measure a relaxing performance). High jumps are done over a bar placed on cleats in order to fall or a stretched elastic. The crossing takes place either from the front or on the side. For long jumps, the swing and fall terrain must be at the same level and flat. Jump withoutmomentum: The feet are joined or spread; but at the moment of rising it is forbidden to make a start, to take a call or to trample. In addition, they must leave the ground at the same time and not one after the other. They can be performed from the front (in this case, there must be no twisting of the body at the time of crossing) or from the side: in this case it is the average of the best jump to the left and the best jump to the right that gives the performance. Long jump without momentum: If the feet are bare, the toes can arch on the vertical protrusion of the ledge constituting the starting line, to avoid slipping. As well as for the high jump. High jump with momentum: Head jump: The momentum race must take place on a line perpendicular to the line to be crossed; The call can be made on one foot or all 2 at a time. In the first case, it is the average right and left call foot that gives the performance. Side jump: Again, it is the average of the best jump on the left and the best jump on the right that gives the performance. Long jump with momentum: The momentum stroke must be 20 metres long on a line perpendicular to the line to be crossed; The call can be made on one foot or all 2 at a time. In the first case, it is the average right and left call foot that gives the performance. Again, it is the average right and left call foot that gives the performance.
Lift in heavy: The test consists of raising with both hands, arms outstretched above the head, the heaviest weight possible, helping at will the relaxation of the legs. The lifting can be done by throwing, developed or torn off. Lever in resistance: The test consists of lifting a weight the greatest number of times for a maximum of two minutes. Once the weight is high at arm's length, lower it and make it touch the ground very briefly and this before the heel line;
Throwing a heavyweight by shoulder throw: The throw is executed with a single arm, knowing that it is the average of the best throw of the right arm and the left arm that will give the performance. The momentum is taken in a circle of 1m radius and the launcher must not leave it before the fall of the weight, fall which must be done in a band 2m wide. Skill throw of a light weight (ball, pebble, etc …) by relaxation of the arm: The launch is made on a target of 1m² (1x1m) whose lower edge is 50 cm from the ground located 20 meters away. It is done by a sudden lateral relaxation movement of the arm (and not by a swing from bottom to top). 12 throws are made from each arm. Throwing in distance of a light weight (1 kg) by swing of the arm: The throw can be done:
- By swinging the arm back and forth, the body facing the direction of launch (gesture of the ball thrower),
- By lateral swing of an arm rising above the head, the body turned to the right or left of the direction of launch (gesture of the grenade launcher),
- By horizontal swing of an arm, the body turned to the right or left (gesture of the disc thrower).
Here again it is the average best throw right arm and left arm that gives the performance
Swimming event: The start is 1 meter from the surface of the water by a free dive. The swimming mode is free. Underwater diving: The departure is also 1 meter from the surface of the water; time is counted from the moment the body is fully immersed and stops as soon as a part emerges. The swimmer must swim underwater or stay in balance at his choice but without clinging to anything. Diving in height: The body must enter the water head first.
